On Wednesday some really lucky Year 1 children got to go all the way to Walker Dome to attend a multi skills festival with lots of other children from Newcastle.
We got to balance, dribble a football, hopscotch, keep a balloon up and lots more. It was great to get our heart rates up and build upon our skills.
Our teachers had to look out for six key values.
– determination
– passion
– respect
– teamwork
– honesty
– self belief
These are really important values in P.E. – it’s not just about the winning!
We all had a super day and can’t wait for the next one!
