What a brilliant day yesterday! The rain held off, the sun glimpsed out from behind the clouds and there were many smiling (if not a bit red) faces.
At 10.45 lots of families met underneath the Archibald First School banner and the adjacent Gosforth Junior Academy sign as siblings ran together. At 11.00 the team set off as the hooter sounded with the option fo running 1, 3 or 5 miles.
Well done to everyone who ran, hobbled, walked or crawled to the finish – we are very proud of you. So far as a school we have raised £285 for this worthwhile charity.
