Last week Mr. Bowen, (Niamh and Rowan’s Grandad) kindly came into Class 4 to help us with some at work. Mr. Bowen has been an art teacher all his life and was head of Harrogate College of Art so we were very lucky to have him!
We were creating observational drawings of minibeasts inside magnifying glasses. He helped us to add lots of extra detail to our drawings and think about size.
Then Mr. Bowen showed us how to use water colour pencils. We had to be very careful to just add a little water so the colours did not run.
The children loved having Mr. Bowen in Class 4, he was so friendly and helpful and lots of fun. The work the children produced is brilliant. Thank you Mr. Bowen, please come back again!!
