Yesterday we had a really exciting day learning Russian in anticipation of the World Cup in 2018.
Our visitor Geoff Steele showed us an amazing Russian Doll and told us about Ivan the Terrible. He taught us how to say hello and say our name in Russian.
In year 3 and 4 they also learnt the names of classroom objects. He only spoke in Russian so we had to listen really hard. We tried to read these words and match them to the right picture.
We had a great day. Many thanks to Geoff for coming in.
