Year 4 had a fabulous day out at the Centre for Life. After an exciting trip on the Metro, we got to sample a variety of activities at the museum. We were able to put our science skills to good use and really impressed our grown ups and the staff there too! We loved the Space Zone and had the opportunity to create our own coding programs, devise menus for up in Space, present weather reports and so much more!!!! We also got to find out about the many different jobs that you can do in Space – there are just so many to choose from; we all felt really inspired.
After exploring the brain zone – where there is an actual REAL brain to look at, we headed to the Making Zone and put our STEM skills to good use. We ended our day with a visit to the Ice Rink, it was so much fun!! Lots of us fell over as we were skating for our first time, but there were lots of smiles and giggles!!!
We had a brilliant day and had lots of fun whilst also learning new things! We would really recommend a visit over the holiday to CFL – you won’t be disappointed!!!!
