Early Years have loved learning about Chinese New Year this week. We have learnt about how the years of the Zodiac were named and retold the story of the Great Race. We have made lanterns, dragons and had a go at writing Chinese symbols for the animals. We know it is the year of the Rabbit. We have loved dragon dancing. Reception even had a very noisy dragon parade around school to scare away any bad spirits ready for the new year on Sunday. We look forward to seeing what our children have been up to on Tapestry for our You and Me task.
