Archibald First School, Gosforth, Newcastle Upone Tyne | Having fun, learning together

Archibald got all artistic at the start of this half term.  It began with Art Week when everyone created a piece of work. These were displayed in the hall and could be bought.  We sold nearly 200 pieces of Art work.   Some of our Gifted and Talented children also created scupltures using junk. During this week we also had an Arts Evening where parents and their children could try different creative skills.  This included working with clay, jewellery making and drawing cartoons.  We has a visit from Viz cartoonist too.  Thank you to everyone who came to look or share in our artistic talents.
