Reception had a great time at the Discovery Museum yesterday. We enjoyed exploring the museum looking at lots of different types of transport, including a beautiful old car and a number of steam trains. We loved having our lunch next to the Turbinia. We also got to explore where we lived and found both the Tyne Bridge and Swing Bridge. We worked with Amy to look at artefacts from the past and now, that belonged to a car, train or a boat. We were great at talking about the objects and how we knew they were old or new. We asked lots of great questions and impressed with our knowledge.
