On Monday we had a visit from ESH group in Reception. We were taught about the different jobs on a building site and some children took those roles. We learnt about some of the measuring and building equipment used and tried this too. We looked at famous building and impressed our visitor with our knowledge. We even learnt the special way to build a brick wall. ESH group left us all of the bricks, uniforms and tools so we could try the kit out for ourselves. We showed Nursery how to play with the equipment at Do time and then they had a go at doing the jobs in Nursery time. We are loving being builders and are showing lots of problem solving and team work skills. Thank you to ESH group for loaning us this equipment.
