We have had a fantastic start to the new school year, welcoming all our new starters.
Mrs Rowley and Ms Harrison with Mrs Hewitt and Mrs Yule have enjoyed some nursery home visits and are getting ready to welcome the children into Early Years with their parents and then by themselves this up coming week.
The reception starters have been fantastic!!! After a big cuddle, kiss and wave goodbye the children have been able to leave their grown ups at the front yard and come in independently. We have been amazed how quick they are picking up on routines and making new friends.
Only 20 of our new children have stayed for lunch so far, however this has been a huge success with everyone giving things they don’t normally like a little try and managing to tidy away their trays.
Bring on week 2!!
