Well done to Year 2 who took part in a coding workshop with Julian from Gem Education this term.
The children worked in pairs to code the Microbits . They had to type in the code , connect the wires and make a pattern of light and sound . After this they used the coded Microbit to move their turtle mobile forwards , backwards and diagonally. It was great fun when the children took their cars to the hall to test them out. This was a great follow up to the engineering project the children took part in in autumn term , where they had to make their own Santa Mobile. Engineering and coding for the future !
