Keeping our children and families safe is one of our top priorities and we have to say a huge thank you to all our families who do this every day when arriving at school in the morning and at the end of the day.
We do appreciate that the school run can be busy, and that finding a parking space right next to school a challenge however we are reminding families not to park on the yellow lines (single or double), the zigzags in front of school or up the lane to the side of school.
This parking (even for 10 minutes) is obstructing the paths for families, making children have to walk on the road, causing traffic jams as well as blocking residents access. It is increasing the risk of an accident happening to one of our children.
Parking is available in the streets down from Archibald Street and around the corner. We open the doors at 8.45 to help ease the congestion over a 10 minute period as the children are registered at 8.55am.
Thank you for your support with making sure all our children can come into and leave school in a safe environment.
