Today was the very first day of Let’s Get Building club in Early Years!
Our team of builders talked about structures and design and we read ‘Izzy Peck Architect’ to start the session.
Then we were faced with a problem;
‘Can you build a bridge strong enough to hold a car, using only marshmallows and spaghetti.’
We had to design our bridges first, then… we got building.
All the children worked really hard and we all managed to successfully make a structure strong enough to hold the car! Well done builders!
Everybody had lots of fun and I cannot wait to see what challenge we are faced with next week!
