We have been so excited that Let’s Get Building club is finally back and what a super first session we had!
After reading Iggy Peck Architect by Andrea Beaty, we talked about all the people involved in something being made. We looked at both architects and builders and also the tools they need.
The children’s challenge this week was;
To make a bridge out of spaghetti and marshmallows that could hold a toy car.
The children began by designing their bridges and set to work.
We are so proud of how hard the children tried. Some were successful straight away, others thought carefully about how to change their design to strengthen their bridge.
But most importantly, we all had great fun along the way.
Thanks builders, see you next week!
Miss. Pearson and Miss. Crowe 🙂
