Reception had a visit from the Brush Up team today. We took part in 4 actvities.
We listened to a story about why we need to brush our teeth called Open Wide What’s Inside.
We learnt how to brush properly for two minutes. We practised on big teeth, lion teeth and even dragon teeth.
We sorted food that is good and not so good for our teeth. We talked about cheese being good for our teeth.
We dressed liked dentists and patients and loved exploring our mouths with the mirrors.
It was super to hear the children talk about visits to the dentists and they knew how and why they should brush their teeth. No excuses now Reception!
