On Wednesday 14th May, everyone in school took part in our second Run, Jog, Walk. From Nursery to Year 4 , from teachers to Mrs Carr in the office, everyone did their bit to raise money for 3 fantastic charities. Nursery and Reception completed an obstacle course. Year 1 ran 1 lap of the course, Year 2 ran 2, Year 3 ran 3 and Year 4 did an amazing 4 laps!
Mrs Watson did an amazing job of organising this event.
We would also like to thank:
- Sainburys for providing water to hydrate the runners.
- Our PTFA for providing biscuits and oranges to help us regain our energy.
- Police officers Lawrence Park and Angus Watson for providing marshalling support.
- Parents, Support staff and Dinner staff who marshalled the course, cheered everyone along and took photos.
Well done to the parents who ran too!
The three charities we are supporting are Tiny Lives, Marie Curie (Children of Parents with Cancer) and St Oswalds Hospice. These charities were chosen by our school council.
Below is a note of thanks from Tiny lives.
