Broadway East First School are hosting the ‘Gosforth Schools Trust Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Fair’ on Tuesday on Tuesday 19th January, which will be held in the school hall between 2:00 and 3:15.
This is a ‘drop-in’ event, where you will be able to meet and talk to some of the agencies who work with schools in Newcastle to support children with SEND and their parents. Please note this is an information sharing event, and not an opportunity to discuss individual children.
Agencies at the fair will be:
- Special Educational Needs Disability Information, Advice & Support Service (formerly Parent Partnership)
- Northeast Special Educational Needs Network
- Special educational needs, teaching and support service (SENTASS), which includes staff who support children who have dyslexia, learning difficulties and hearing and visual impairments.
- Schools from within the Gosforth Schools Trust, including staff from Broadway East First School.
Parents from all the schools in the Gosforth Schools Trust will be invited. If you are interested in attending, please phone the school office to let us know you would like to come, or speak to Mrs Bayes before Friday 15th January. There is no limit on the number of people who can attend, but we need to be sure that there is enough interest to go ahead with the fair.
