On Saturday 11th May, Archibald First School held it’s first ever Spring Fete. Although the weather wasn’t exactly Spring like, that didn’t stop us having a great time. There were lots of fantastic new things to do and see, including a fire engine, real life rabbits and chickens and the first annual Welly Wanging contest. There was lots of things to play and eat. The turn out was fantastic. It included three generations of Archibald pupils- Great grandma, grandma and one of our current Year 1 children. We also had our youngest attendee, who was born just over 24 hours before the Fete! The Spring Fete raised over £1900. Well done to everone and a big thank you to Tanya Watkins and her team who worked so hard organising this fantastic PTFA event.
