We hope everyone enjoyed becoming part of the Archibald Flock on Wednesday! We had a whole heard of sheep, a pack of sheep dogs as well as farmers, shepherds and shepherdesses.
The aim of the day was to raise money for St Oswald’s linked to the Shaun on the Tyne project. We have our very own mini Shaun in school which we have designed together. Watch out for the unveiling of ‘Spring Lily’…
The day, and our collection at the end of the Christmas service, raised a brilliant total of £640.
Thank you to everyone for their generosity!!!
Our day started with our Chief Shepherd, Shepherd Holman, rounding up the flock to get them into school…
During the day, each year group produced their very own flock of sheep…
The day ended with a whole school parade. We were so lucky that the sun shone brightly as we all walked around the school showing off our black and white costumes, sheep wear, shepherd/farmer dress and sharing our artwork.
Thank you to all the grown-ups who came along slightly early to watch our parade.
