Nursery have had a brilliant start to this half term. This week we read ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ by Judith Kerr, the children were very engaged with the story and found it very funny that a tiger would come to your house for tea!
The children also thought about what they might feed a tiger who came for tea and drew some delicious meals for a very hungry tiger. We are very proud of how well the children are developing their writing skills, well done Nursery!
The children had great fun making tigers out of playdough. They used pipe cleaners and wool to create super tiger stripes and buttons and eyes to give the tigers a face. We think they are fabulous tigers!
We spent time thinking about what tigers look like and then played a game looking at and matching the patterns from some other animals too.
What a super start to this half term Nursery! We cant wait to see all the incredible things you are going to amaze us with over the next few weeks!
