On Wednesday Year 1 were really lucky because we had visitors from Northumberland Wildlife Trust. They taught us all about different birds.
First we had to name different birds. We saw pictures of a woodpecker, puffin, blackbird, owl, blue tit and an eagle which is a bird of prey!
I liked cuddling the soft bird toys. They were cool beacuse when you squeezed them, they made the noise of a bird! – Ben H

I liked going on the hunt. I was a starling and I had to eat berries for energy. – Liam
