Reception go dotty for Art Week

Reception were really inspired by our artist during art week. Our artist is called Yayoi Kusuma and she loves dots.  Mrs Johnson came to speak to us as she has been to see two exhibitions of Kusama's work, inspiring us even further.  We made our own dotty pumpkins and butterflies, just like Yayoi. Our core book, The Dot is all about inspiring others to make a mark and we loved doing this in our art gallery in Circle zone. We used a dot to inspire our writing, turning it into anything we wanted and writing about it. We showed so much of our school value of being creative. Well done Reception.
