Year 1 Eco Day

We had such a fun day answering the question "What does it take to make a cup of tea?"

At first we thought it was easy... a cup, hot water and a tea bag!

But it is so much more than that. We learned all about how and where tea leaves are grown and the huge journey they make to the UK so we can enjoy our cups of tea.

After writing some super instructions to make a cup of tea, we loved studying maps, videos and making posters to explain the journey of the tea leaves.
