The whole school took part in a rainbow run to raise money for two charities, Daft As A Brush and Smile For Life. All from Nursery to year 4 took part in this fun run. In the run our families gave us some sponsorship money to give to these to charities.
We invited the two charities along to a school assembly. There we gave them the money we raised, each charity received £650.00 to go towards there charity. Altogether we had raised £1300.00!!! In the assembly we learnt about what would happen to our money, that we raised, it would help the less fortunate people have a better life. We learnt a special song for the special assembly called Water Of Tyne. All of us enjoyed the assembly and we hope our guests enjoyed it to.
