Friday 11 April 2025 Easter Stay and Play Early Years loved welcoming our grown-ups into our unit for our Easter Stay and Plays. We took part in an Easter hunt. We made rabbit hats, chicks and bunnies. We bowled an egg into a bunnies mouth and decorated eggs. We had great fun sharing all the fun things we do in school. We finished by singing some Easter songs.

Tuesday 8 April 2025 Early Years Lovely Library Day This morning we had a visit from a very special Mystery Reader- Leah from Gosforth Library. She shared about the library and read us one of her favourite books. This afternoon, Reception went on a lovely sunny walk to visit Gosforth Library. Louise shared a book about reading and then we shared books with our adults and each other. We finished off with another story all about an Easter egg hunt. Louise and Leah would love more visitors to the Library which is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. They have a lovely event happening during the holidays too.

Tuesday 8 April 2025 Easter Hunt Fun A HUGE thank you to the PTFA for organising an egg-cellent egg hunt today. We had a brilliant time and can’t wait to eat our yummy treats! 🌷🐣🐰

Monday 7 April 2025 That History Bloke Year 3 Year 3 were very lucky to have the 'That History Bloke' to come in to enhance our Egyptian topic. Our favourite activities were preparing a 'body' for mummification and writing our names in hieroglyphics.

Friday 4 April 2025 Reception Easter visitor Thank you to Reverend Shipton from All Saints Church for coming in to visit Reception to share all about how Christians celebrate Easter, including how he washes 12 pairs of feet! We impressed him with our knowledge of the Easter story.

Thursday 3 April 2025 Year 1 Trip to the Laing Year 1 had a wonderful trip on Tuesday. We explored the gallery appraising different pieces of art, thinking about how they made us feel and what story they might have told.

Monday 31 March 2025 Spring arrives in Forest school Early Years have loved finding signs of Spring in forest school. We have tadpoles in the pond plus daffodils and tulips growing. It is a great way to learn about the season. Nursery loved climbing trees this morning too. Reception loved using their I Pad photography skills to zoom in on the flowers.

Tuesday 18 March 2025 Coding and robotics club! Key Stage two have thoroughly enjoyed their coding club with Margaux every Tuesday night. We've coded our own obstacle avoidance course and collected bonus points by knocking over bushes and dogs! It has been great fun!
